· SSN connects journalists, policymakers, and civic leaders with American’s top researchers to improve policy and strengthen democracy
· Plan and facilitate meetings with members; Maintain emailing list and send out emails about events and
opportunities to members
· Developed video series around issues such as approval voting, the Census, and Amendment 3 (2020)
· Hosted workshops on policy brief writing and op-ed writing
· Worked with a diverse group of graduate fellows to incorporate their research into local elections, including connecting with policy makers and candidates
Co-Leader and Presenter, R-Ladies – R-Ladies STL (St. Louis Chapter)

· R-Ladies promotes gender diversity in the community of users of R Statistical programming language
· Present workshops for woman and other underrepresented groups in coding and statistical programming
· Help plan workshops, recruit presenters, and use social media to promote workshops for the organization

· Plan and host events around policies effecting citizens in Missouri and Illinois, such as EITC, Medicaid expansion, civic engagement, criminal justice, and voting

· useR! Is an annual conference of leading statisticians and data scientists across the globe
· Help to compile tutorial topics and presenters for the R!2020 conference in St. Louis
