A Bit About Me

As someone dedicated to finding solutions to policy problems through robust research, I am excited to explore solutions to inequities, injustice, climate change, and socioeconomic issue through policy analysis. My research intersects with socioeconomic and political phenomena, including how politics plays a role in disaster response.

My research stems from two passions of mine in social science: policy outcomes and the use of methodological approaches to improve our understanding of phenomenon in the public sphere such as the use of robust public goods and climate change.

Additionally, I prioritize community well-being as part of my service to community, through community organizations such as RLadiesSTL and Confluence Scholars Strategy Network. Civic involvement is cornerstone to my practice as being not only an active researcher and academic, but an active and caring citizen.
